TOP 5 places in Africa to visit for a millionaire

Are you dreaming of a trip to Africa? Whether you have already gathered the wealth for an amazing trip, or are still in the process of saving up or playing the lottery for big winnings, visiting Africa can be an expensive journey if you want to see the continent in all its glory.

Today we are exploring 5 fantastic areas to visit if money is not an issue. Keep in mind that Africa offers a plethora of breathtaking destinations to explore, so if your favorite destination is not on this list, it is not because it is any less beautiful or worthwhile. Happy travels!

Sossusvlei, Namibia

First on our list is an otherworldly desert destination, featuring red sand dunes and surreal salt pans as far as the eye can see. This location has been showcased in many travel programs over the years, but really needs to be experienced first hand.

While the stay itself typically last for a few days, and thus is not that expensive in itself, traveling there and hiring guides and equipment can be somewhat costly. For the ultimate experience we advise a longer stay to get the most out of the sights, as sunset and sunrise over the red sand dunes is spectacular and unforgettable.

Masai Mara National Reserve, Kenya

Next on our list is a have for wildlife and nature lovers. This national reserve is home to the world-famous annual wildebeest migration, where thousands upon thousands of the majestic beasts travel around 500 kilometers in order to reach their new home.

There are of course a ton of other animals to see and enjoy as well, including the beautiful zebras that are synonymous with the Masai Mara National Reserve in Kenya. And although it can be costly,  we recommend a private safari tour for a complete experience.

Mount Kilimanjaro, Tanzania

Most wealthy people have already traveled to a bunch of luxurious and exclusive destinations, experiencing animals and nature galore. For those that seek new heights and memories, Mount Kilimanjaro offers just that, being the highest peak of Africa.

It is possible to climb all the way to the summit with the help of an experienced crew and guide, and although it costs a pretty penny, it is also an incredible feat, affording the climbers with breathtaking vistas from the altitude, incredible experiences and worthwhile memories that last a lifetime.

Sahara Desert, Morocco

Most people have heard of the Sahara Desert. Few people are aware of its location though, as it lies in the northern part of Africa. We recommend visiting from Morocco, where you can begin the trip from the gateway cities of either Marrakech or Fes.

For the adventurous tourists, the Sahara can be explored on camelback, but for a more luxurious trip you can also hire 4×4 vehicles for added safety and comfort. No matter what transportation method, you will be amazed by the changing shapes and colors of the dunes, especially during sunrise and sunset when the desert is bathed in a warm golden light.

Okavango Delta, Botswana

Last on our list, is one of the most famous safari destinations anywhere in the world. The Okavango Delta is a beautiful oasis, that lies in the heart of the Kalahari Desert.

Exploring the Okavango Delta usually involves guided traditional dugout canoe rides, where you are taken through the narrow waterways, providing a tranquil and immersive way to experience the natural beauty and exorbitant wildlife.
